Applying for FLR, I am Self employed and employed both

Post by hareenpatel » Wed Jul 26, 2006 12:51 pm

Hi all,

I am going to apply for FLR soon. But I am confused about my employement status.

I am full time employee in an IT company. on the other hand I am also self employed, and receives payments into the bank account in which I receive the salary.

I just registered for selfemployment 2 weeks ago and deposited Class 2 NI contributions (for self employed). But I have not done self assessment yet.

Now in the FLR form there is option to select one option from emplayed or self employed.

What should I do?

I am planning to only show my fulltime employement status, but due to extra income in my bank, home office may be suspisious. But on the other hand, if I show as self employed and employed both then again it may make my case more confusing.

Need your opinion.

Thanks
