Query Regarding Previous earnings

Post by ashenoy » Mon Dec 19, 2011 11:56 am

Hello Guys,

My situation is this

1) applied for tier 1 sometime in Feb 2009
2) Got visa valid for 3 years from Apr 2009 to Apr 2012
3) Never entered UK until Jul 2011
4) Came here as wife had a project from her company via tier2
5) Want to extend my visa now and apply ASAP.

As I need to show 12 months earning somewhere around 6 months earnings will be my Indian earnings.

My question is can I use uplift ratio for the salary I earned while I was in India before I came to UK ?

Cheers.

No, because there's no concept of "uplift ratio" for extension applications.

Thanks for the Reply. Just out of curiosity, now that the Tier 1 is stopped, where exactly is the uplift ratio used, if its not used for extensions.

Cheers.
