Dependent visa application - Query

Hi,

I am planning to get married in May and was planning to bring my wife on tourist visa. I have my extension of tier-1 due in September and was thinking to apply for my wife's dependent visa then. We are both Indian nationals.

My question is whether I can do it?

We will be in South Africa till August and was planning to apply for the visitor visa to UK from South Africa. Hope I can do this to.

It will be great if you could confirm both these.
