A Tricky One (Advice appreciated)

Post by banku » Mon Mar 25, 2013 3:18 pm

Hi Experts,
I came to (Alberta)Canada in Oct.2012 on Pilots Project program as a Long Haul Truck driver with Company X&Y .
X&Y didn't really treat well so I resigned from this X&Y company in Jan.2013 (after working for them 3 Months) and I joined another Trucking company "ABC" as a Long Haul Driver on Jan. 23rd.2013.

As Par the pilot's program we can apply for PR after 6 months of being & Working in Alberta.
My Question is When can I apply for my PR i.e After 6 Months of being in Canada i.e April 2013 or Do I have to wait till I complete my 6 months with "ABC" company?
Your advice will be highly appreciated in this matter.

Kind regards,

Kind regards,
Is based on 6 months of continue work after arriving to Alberta. Moreover, you still need to sit an English test (IELTS) and your employer needs to present your nomination to the Province. Once you've been nominated, then you can send your application for PR to CIC.
Life is short, so let's get moving!

No problems mate. Have a look at this link: http://www.albertacanada.com/immigratio ... x#trucking. And if you have any questions, I suggest you phone them up. Generally, they are really helpful over the phone.

One thing is for sure, you still have to sit the IELTS in order to apply for the PNP.
