Can you please advice me wether it is possible to obtain a police report from Malaysia if I lived there for more than six months but less than one year?

I have seen in web site that you have to live more than a year to obtain one from Malaysia

Can you please advice me wether it is possible to obtain a police report from Malaysia if I lived there for more than six months ( seven months) but less than one year?

And also can you advice if there is break of more than 30 days within this seven months going out of Malaysia will be counted as less than six months?

How six months living in Malaysia is counted ? Is it 172 days in total? If it is less than 172 days can I say it is less than six months? This is urgently required for information. Please reply
