advice on TRV

Post by simrun255 » Wed Feb 11, 2015 4:30 pm

I am gathering my documents to reapply for my wifes TRV. Which was refused in July 2014. I looked at the refusal letter from last year and just wanted advice. See refusal points below. Shall i do a covering letter addressing all the points of refusal ?

She was refused for the following but here is how i have addressed the issues since i got a refusal in july 2014.

No travel history- (we went to singapore, thailand before) now we have USA VISA & Schengen visa and are going to france next week.

immagration status- Dont know what this means really my wife is here in the UK on a spouse visa till 2016 then you reapply and then get another 2.5 years

family ties to canada and own country- Its my grandparents in canada and my family here in the UK, i suppose my wife only really has me and my family here in uk and canada. My wife is at college now and has been studying part time 3 days a week since september 2014. when i reapply i can get a letter from the college confirming this.

Your personal assets & financial -we now have a joint bank account with about £2000 in the account. We have joint credit cards and i have money etc as well. but i remember you saying its not what i can show but what she can show.
