My finacé and I are going to get married in September. I'm a permanet resident and she has a 1 year TRV that expires in October. She has been coming to Canada and I going back home several times now for the last 2 years.

We want to start an in-canada application once we arrive to Canada in September, but with her visa expiring so soon, would it be good to have her get another 1 year visa so that we don't have to be extending her stay over and over?

How soon can we get the AIP on an In-Canada application?
