Implied Status

Post by jillmalcibar » Sun Nov 09, 2008 5:51 pm

Can I travel to the US while I only have an implied status in Canada. I applied for extension of my visitor visa a month ago, October 2008, and I want to travel to the US for thanksgiving at the end of the month, November 2008.

Additional notes:
I arrived in Canada on 25 May 2008 and I was given til 24 November 2008.
I went to the US last August and came back through Sarnia, it was stamped with 1 September 2008, does this mean I get 6 months from 1 September 2008. (I noticed this stamp after I filed my application for extension of TRV.)
I didnt know that they were going to stamp a new entry date because I entered through Kingston the last time, they didnt put an entry stamp and another one through Buffalo still no stamp.
