While it's true that you are normally permitted to enter the US for up to 6 months on a B1/B2 visa, the actual number of days you are permitted to stay for a given visit is what's recorded on your electronic i94 record, by the Immigration Officer at the Port of Entry. They would ask you how long you are visiting for and then enter the number of days based on that on the system. If she wants she can check how long she was admitted for during her last visit by checking her i94 record online. The website to do this is given below:

When I've visited the US on a B1/B2 visa in the past, the number of days I was admitted for has never been entered on my passport. It's all captured electronically; I've seen when I've checked my i94 records, that even when visiting for a few days they've admitted me for a period much longer than that - never more than 6 months though. If you stay beyond what's recorded on your i94 record you would be considered to have overstayed.
