OCI From India

Hi

My daughter is one month old, and received British Passport last week.

On this occassion, we have applied for a tourist visa (under processing) so we can travel India next week. The purpose of the visit is emergency reasons.

I was wondering, if we can apply for an OCI to my daughter from India.

Can someone, please confirm the following:
a. Can we apply for OCI from India ?
b. What is the process ?
