Post by rubyracer2 » Mon Oct 14, 2024 12:33 pm

Hi all , are VFS and HCI processing applications for passport renewals for minors if one parent is no longer an Indian citizens.

They were not accepting applications for the last year or so but last i heard , HCI was reviewing it. Thanks in advance

I had applied for my kids' Passports in July and rec'd them in August.
My kids were given a Passport with validity of 2 years only. But I have heard some children being issued with the usual 5 yrs validity.

Thanks Siva, that's very reassuring.

I just need 1 year validity for my kids to be eligible for BC. So 2 years is not a dealbreaker
