Extended my visa 2 weeks ago and a guy from the PEO office just called to check whether I have received my biometric card. I

Is this a bit strange as I thought they are very busy and won't have time to go 'extra mile'. Has anyone received a call from PEO after visa is granted to check on biometric card?
