Choosing Visa consultant

Hi,
I'm planning to apply for a change of employment work permit. I'm not able to make a decision on who to give this responsiblity to. Visa consultants or a Solicitor? Is there any specific advantage is entrusting the visa appications to a solicitor?(Because they are certified by law). Please help me to decide on this.
