Work permit timescales - Urgent

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your earlier replies.. I really appreciate that.
I have one more question..

My new employer has applied for my work permit application (This is a case of work permit transfer). They have sent the application last week means on 5th of july. Till today, they havn't recieved any information from Home office. So my question is what is time taken by home office guys for work permit processing?

Anyone please help..

It can take up to 6 weeks to process.

There is a huge backlog of WP apps resulting from companies which submitted their applications before the fee increase.

I’ve received in 3 days including dependent visa stamping too.
