Family Visit Visa - Documents

Hi,

I have got limited company and contracting right now. I am planning to invite my parents to the UK. Please can someone advice the documents I should be sending to invite them?

I have planned to send
sponsorship letter
bank statement
council tax bill
passport copy

I will not be able to send pay slip or employment contract. Can someone suggest an alternative?

You can send your Tax return documents.

Also, in case you are not aware of this, bear in mind that if they are coming over on a short visit, you have to get them to provide as much evidence as possible of their own income, assets, properties and social ties in their home country. These will help to convince the ECO that they have something to return to at home, and that they are unlikely to overstay in the UK after their visit.
