UK born baby

Post by karanjamuna » Sun Sep 15, 2013 2:47 pm

I was given asylum as a refugee in the UK and my wife also got the same status. Now we have got a baby born in UK. My question is, which passport and visa i should apply for my baby to travel outside the UK? If anybody knows about this, plz help me.

This is a big jump from a PBS applicant to refugee status.

What Country do you want to travel to, is it the Country you face persecution?

It is not a jump. I was really persecuted in the country where i was born on my return to the country after passing some time in the UK. It is because of my previous activities against the government. I wish to travel to France to visit my sister.

I did not mean a jump in a derogatory manner, I merely meant that the type of application is very much different.

See Child dependent relatives (click) Remember that when you are granted ILR, your child will be entitled to register as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA. In the meantime see Travel Documents (click)
