Refugee Travel Document Form- TD112 BRP Advice Needed

Post by matt14 » Tue Jun 10, 2014 3:23 pm

Hello!

I'm just applying for a Convention Travel Document and i need help filling the form - TD112 BRP.
It says in 3.3:
"Please give below the details of any previous immigration applications in any name you have made in either the
UK or abroad."

and in 3.4:
"Have you had your fingerprints taken as part of a previous UK immigration application
made in the UK or abroad?"

Does this include ANY visa application made in the past or only for "immigration applications"? I mean iv applied for other countries' visa in the past and i gave my fingerprints at the time of applying for asylum and a BRP so should i write about it? Should i mention the biometric enrollment for asylum and BRP? I already have a BRP so...

Also, in the list of documents to be attached with the application form at the end of the form, it says "Immigration Status Documents" Does that mean the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP)? Should the original BRP be sent to them?

Many thanks in advance for your kind help! Please reply soon.

Dear Both,

I had the same query and then I contacted the home to find out what to fill in for the required fields;

3.3 -> You have to include all the applications you have made for travelling to the UK, successful or unsuccessful, such as Tourist visa applications, Business, Tier 1,2,3,4 including Asylum Claim. Most recent first and the right order.
3.4 -> This is part where you have to include all the information about fingerprints, whenever and wherever they were taken for the UK visa or immigration purposes as stated above in 3.3

I hope I have answered your question.

Best Wishes,

N

Hello,
What is the immigration status of a child born in the UK after their parents obtained refugee status? Both parents have limited leave to remain in the UK as a refugee and the child was born after the grant of refugee status. Can the parents make a travel document application to their child? Or should there be an application for leave to remain first? if so, which form should they need to use? Yours faithfully,
