Question of Work Permits

Post by desperado » Mon Sep 13, 2004 11:23 am

Hello All,

I'm in the process of starting my own limited company to start my Professional Sports Academy. I already spoke with few clubs and in the process of signing them as my clients and will be training their club members. I've planned to employ two english coaches as consultants but need a International coach. I've found a former Chinese national and International Player who is now working as a coach in china who has agreed to work for my company as Head Coach.

Although my company is a small and brand new company but as soon as I float my company I will have clients and I'm also talking to takeover existing Sole Trader who does similar kind of service. I will be taking over all the assets and liabilities along with the sole traders client.

I would like to bring the Chinese National on sports work permit. Will it be possible?

I'm looking for good solicitors to help me out on this one. Could someone give me any solicitors numbers please.

thanks in advance

It is not in the 'spirit' of this forum that we provide details of solicitors/immigration advisors...

...however our hosts (workpermit.com) who are OISC registered may be able to help - so contact them directly

PS. I am not suggesting that they are the ONLY option neither am I employed or in anyway linked to them
Where there is a will there is a way.

Thanks Chess,

I will call them. What do you think about my current position?

Will I be able to apply for Work Permit to employ the Chinese National as my company's head coach? I spoke with few english coaches but none of them have the experience or the expertise of the chinese coach. So I've planned to employ the chinese coach as head coach and the english coach will be consultants or assistant coach to chinese head coach.

As I mentioned in my previous post my company will be a brand new company but will have clients straight away and will also takeover existing sole traders business.

many thanks
