Visit Visa For Parent who availed NHS facility earlier

Hi,

I have a question about a parent who during earlier visit to UK under visitor visa availed GP visit & Hospital outpatient visit facilities.

In new visa applications they have a question that did you avail NHS facilityes - Yes/No, If yes did you pay for the medication.

My mother visited me and had to avail GP , Hospital outpatient facilities due to her health condition, She did not pay for the medication. Does this mean that she will not be issued visitor visas in the future ?

She may face a refusal. It would be wise to repay the charges before submitting the visitor visa application. You could contact the GP and the hospital for statement of the repayments due.
