Asylum Question

Post by hambvart » Fri Jul 10, 2015 9:07 pm

Hey all.

Would like to know your opinion if the answer to the below present question is reasonable or not. I am gay claiming asylum in the UK. Thank you.

-Why have you chosen to seek asylum in the United Kingdom?

-Firstly, because according to the IGLA-Europe's annual report, the UK ranks the first for protecting the rights of lgbt people. Secondly, I believe that your country will provide me with the opportunities that I need for personal stabilzation and advancement. Thirdly, and most importantly, I have chosen the UK because I am fluent in English. If I were to settle in another non-English country, I would have spent considerable time learning the language.

Do you have any other connections in UK that you can emphasise?
(For example relatives or other support networks).

You may need specialised advice.
Maybe some of these groups can help you make your case:

Best of luck.
