Sponsor my mother-in-law to visit

Hi

I am a complete newbie to this, I would like to sponsor my mother-in-law to visit from Bangladesh, I've had a look through the Home Office website and I found it all very confusing, can someone please point me in the right direction as to what the procedures are and what forms/processes have to be completed for this?

She has to provide evidence to convince the ECO that she is a genuine visitor and will leave the UK and prove what strong ties to home country she has (financial, work, property, family, etc).
