I don't know how to fill FLP(FP) form

I'm just so confused right name. Me and my mum are applying for FLR(FP) and don't know whether we need to apply separately or on the same form with me as her dependent. I'm 18(but was under 18 when first leave was granted) and I'm applying on the basis I'm between 18-25 and have lived in UK for more than half my life. My mum is applying on the basis that she's the sole parent of a child who's been in UK for at least 7 continuous years(I'm 18 but not yet independent). So would my mum fill in the 10 year parent section while I fill in just the Private life section of the same form?? The form also says that ALL applicants must fill in the private life section, so my mum would have to too?
Or would it just be easier if we applied separately
