I am not getting my passport and other documents

Hello I applied standard visitor visa in Feb 2017 and after biometric verification I am not getting any information from uk home office Sheffield. Now it's going 8 months and without passport I am unable to travel any place. Can any one tell me what should I do and where should I go for this.
