You can book a premium service appointment up to 45 days in advance.??? 42 days???

Post by londone8 » Tue Aug 14, 2018 12:48 am

Hi to whom are struggling with Premium Booking Service

I saw "You can book a premium service appointment up to 45 days in advance." on the Book an appointment page
(https://www.gov.uk/ukvi-premium-service ... ppointment)
Today is 14th August and I tried to book a slot on 28th Sept which is 45 days later from today.
I can see some slots with times opening on 25th Sept, but when I click 28th Sept, it shows "Available appointments from the date selected" but there is no time schedule coming up.

Is that 42 days in advance or 45 days in advance??

If I want to try to secure 28th Sept , when do I need to book????

This country is non-sense. This is absolutely expensive service, then the system is horrible.

It really can be a little tricky

What you need to do is save your booking, close your browser and try again

When you go to the center you wish to visit. You'll see a list of dates. Normally can get them 3 weeks from "today". Keep trying and refreshing. You'll get a hang of it. Be warned: appointment slots get filled incredibly quick. If you have first availability just book it!

It is expensive but will give you peace of mind to go premium.

Husband's timeline - overstayer 11 yrs
08/16 - FLR (FP) Partner, refused 02/18, 03/18 - JR permission refused with merit
08/18 - FLR FP (Partner) PSC - Approved
07/20 - FLR FP to FLR M Switch - Approved, 03/23 FLR M Ext Approved.

If the appointment shows up then it is available regardless of 42/45 days. However the system is very dodgy and unbookable phantom appointments will often show up and then disappear or give an error when trying to book.

I would book the earliest date you can within the 28 days of your visa expiring. It seems stable at about 00:30 so try to book then.
