UK tourist visa - bank statements from savings account or current account

Post by med04 » Tue Oct 02, 2018 9:08 pm

I am sponsoring my mom's trip to UK, thus, I am planning to provide my bank statements (in addition to her own). I have my current account where my salary is deposited to. I use this current account for all of my expenses and transfer money from this account to my savings account monthly. Thus, my current account doesn't have much money left there at the end of the month.

I will definitely send my mom 6 months bank statements from my savings account as all saved money is there but my question is if I also need to send statements from my current account to show them my source of money as my salary is deposited there? My only worry is that 6 months statements from my current account are more than 50 pages which I am worried to be an overkill

Should I send statements from savings account only or add 6 months current account even though it is over 50 pages or may be add 3 months of current account will be enough to show that salary is coming and money are going from that account to savings account?

Thank you

You can show your savings account and provide them with a statement declaring the source of funds are from salary and then maybe send an example of the transfer between current and savings account.
