I submitted my wife's online application and she went for her biometric and they scanned some documents and kept her original passport. She then went for her TB medical test and they said that they require to see her original passport. She explained that it has been given in at the biometric appointment for the Uk visa and so she went back to the center where she had her biometric and they were not able to provide her with the passport and said that she needs to contact the British high commission or Sheffield and if they can send the scanned passport copy to the TB center then they will accept that.
The problem is I have contacted the British high commission who no longer deal with these requests . As well as this my wife's pleaded with the TB center to accept her attested photocopy of her passport stamped by the court and they are not accepting this as it needs to come from Sheffield from their email or the British high commission email. Both have not responded to me.
I am now stuck because my wife needs to do the TB test to send me here in the UK and it's the last thing we need before I submit her documents to Sheffield and we have everything else.
I now know that the TB test should have been done before but we were doing the application ourselves for the first time and we were not advised by anyone .
Please can someone help on what to do, I have so far emailed the mdhislamabad email and also uktbappointments email but they both replied saying they need to get an email from the British high commission or Sheffield with my scanned photocopy directly from them.
No one seems to be helping in Pakistan or in the UK. We cannot afford to withdraw it's not an option . Is the TB test necessary, if we left this out and wrote why we left this out will they still accept this and then we can apply for the TB once she gets her passport and visa picked up from the center . Please can someone help
