Regarding my Assylum Case

Hello Everyone hope everyone is ok.
i am just concerned about my Asylum case..i have applied in 2016 Jan..and within 1 month i have got my first screeining interview and got the ARC card..but then till now i havnt been appointed to substanstive interview its been 3 years , i have applied to work normally if your case is with home office for more then 1 year you can can request them work letter..and i have been applied that through my lawyer and still i havnt given anything..now after 4 years my lawyer said i have an appointment next month for further submission of document ,i have asked my lawyer he said aftr this in 1 week you case will be approved..but i think there is something may be my lawyer is hiding from me..
So please advise me or elaborate this further submission of document what the decesion time on this?

and another thing i am in a relation with my gf from more then 2 years and shes uk citizen (British) can i register my civil partnership with her? and if yes what impact this have on my Asylum case?
