Cut up old BRP

I received my ILR approval letter and new BRP card today in the post. Do I have to cut up my old BRP and send back to the home office, or is that only when you apply for citizenship?

The decision letter should tell you what to do.

I was hoping so too, but it doesn't. It says if I change my details then I need to cut up this one and send back for a new one...

What about the old one I have now though?
