Online visit visa application submitted more than 3 months before travel

After submitting and paying for my mother's visit visa application form online, it then dawned on me that the guidelines state that one should not submit an application more than 3 months before the date of travel. Mine is about 3 weeks early. I have not booked the date for the biometrics yet. If I book the date for the biometrics within the 3 month period, will that be OK?
