UK Visit Visa - Sponsoring Brother Studying in Germany

Hi Experts,

I am Currently on Tier 2 Gen. with two dependents. Wishing to sponsor my younger Brother, who is currently studying in Germany. He is wishing to visit us for 2-3 weeks.

I am Okay to sponsor him. this is the fist time, i am planning to sponsor someone on Visit visa.

Can you guys please help me with the below items:-

Documents I need to produce?
Documents my brother needs to produce?
Bank statement requirements?
Accommodation retirements?
normal duration of the Visa?

Please feel free to add more on to the above. e.g. any generic complications with Visit visas
