SAR request

Post by gullu1 » Fri Oct 04, 2019 9:22 pm

Hello All

I need to submit a subject access request to get my full immigration history.

I am now living in Pakistan and used to live in the UK.

My question is for the photo ID it says you need a lawyer or solicitor to verify your photo. Would it be acceptable if this is lawyer from Pakistan?

Thanks

SAR guidance nowhere says pacifically that the photo id should be certified by only British person/authority so it can be from overseas solicitor. Prefer to use notary public.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Hi

I made a SAR request for my husband - he had his passport photograph attested by a notary / court and it was accepted.
