Super Priority Delay

Post by pr1 » Thu Oct 24, 2019 7:03 pm

I submitted biometrics for a Super Priority Tier-2 Change of Employer application on 21st October. The application was made by the new employer's lawyer but neither he nor I have received any email of the decision yet. The application was straight forward. So I am worried why it is taking so long.

When I had applied for the existing BRP I had an old Pakistani Passport. Last year this expired so I have a new Passport now. I only submitted the new passport scan in this application. Was I supposed to also submit my old passport scan? I don't think this is required but I am just too worried and thinking too much so would like to confirm.

Another thing is I had an SP30 for overspeeding on a road where the limit was 30mph. I paid the £100 fine immediately after receiving the FPN. So I don't think this will affect my application. But would HO be verifying this with DVLA and maybe this is taking time?

Once the application is approved would my current BRP leave be curtailed. My start date on new CoS is 5th November. So if I enter the details of my current BRP in https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work after the new visa is approved will it show that I can work for my current employer until 4th November?

I got the above idea as a way to check if my new visa is approved. Could you confirm if this is correct?

This is not for ILR. This is for Tier 2 Visa. And I haven't heard anything yet.

I renewed my passport last year. Did not know that I have to inform HO about this. I also moved addresses but never informed HO as I wasnt aware I need to send the change of circumstances form. I guess this might be causing the delay. I hope they dont reject my application.

Ah I see. I hope all will be good

But did they actually got back in touch with you saying that the process is complex and they require additional time to review your documents?

Or they just being completely silent?

The above is just a suspicion I have. I think I should send the Change of Circumstances form ASAP. Does anyone have any suggestions if I should send this, or should I simply wait for a few more days and then call UKVI for an update?
