I recently passed my test and am happy to share my experience with you.
You must read and revise the test study materials.

The question formats that you may be asked.
- True or False – Specify if a statement is true or false
- Multiple Choice – Choose one correct answer
- Multiple Answer – Choose two correct answers
- Select statement – Choose which statement is correct from two options provided

There are many online test services around. I used
http://www.lifeinuktest.info/ and http://www.life-in-uk-test.info for preparation

couple of reasons.
1. Its is an absolutely free site. Most of the sites charge between £10 - £20
2. You can practise chapter wise to make each chapter perfect.
