UK visit visa for mother of a UK prisoner

Hi all,

I have a relative serving a life sentence in UK. He is the only son of parents, father has died while he was in prison. Mother is aged too and wants to see his son once. I want to help. I am in a position to sponsor her visit from Pakistan but not sure what type of docs etc are required about the imprisoned one. Also is there any organisation which helps in such situations?

Hello

She needs to demonstrate that she has strong ties to Pakistan and no ties to the UK. It means she needs to show that she has more family remaining in Pakistan and no family living in the UK apart from her son in jail.

A sponsor in the UK can help great deal. Like someone who lives and work in the UK who can show that he or she can support her while in the UK.
