Different surname in BRP and new passport

Hi,

My wife having UK BRP (Leave to remain) and presently she in india. 

Recently she applied for new passport as her old passport about to expire. Her new passport having her name with new surname (after marriage). But her old passport and BRP having name with maiden name.

Now she planning to come back to UK. What we need to do? Is this valid or we need to apply for new BRP? What about immigration?


Please advise. Thank you.

A person can use both their name or their married name in the UK in conjunction with their marriage certificate
