Notary for translated documents standard visitor visa

Post by gautam410 » Mon Feb 14, 2022 3:45 pm

Hello, I'm applying for my mother-in-law's standard visitor visa application. My mil has a property in India and the original title deed is in regional language, she has got it translated in English by an independent translator in her town, but my question is do we need to notarize these documents? Does anyone here have experience with this? been trying to search about this nothing comes up.

No need for notary.
Each translation must contain:

confirmation from the translator that it is an accurate translation of the original document
the date of translation
the translator’s full name and signature
the translator’s contact details
