Apply for 10 year parent / partner route while waiting for asylum decision

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible for an application to be submitted for a 10 year partner / parent route while an asylum application is outstanding.

Specifically, I'd like to know if the asylum claim has to be accepted as withdrawn before a new immigration application can be submitted, or whether a new application can be submitted online and then which, it automatically overrides the asylum claim?.

The asylum claim has remain undecided for many years and in that time, an unmarried relationship has formed (living together) for more than two years, whilst subsequent to that relationship, a British Citizen child is born.
