visitor visa for illiterate mother

visitor visa for illiterate mother

I am planning to apply for visitor visa for my mother but she is illiterate and have a thumbprint in passport. Can i fill the form by myself ? or i need to provide a declaration form?
please suggest

You can fill for her and there is option for you to state this that it was done by you on her behalf

I am unable to find any option in the form. Please guide me .
Also, there is a guideline from gov website however, this looks like for people who are applying for bristih passport not for visitor visa.

You don't need to find an option that says "I filled the form for my mother". Just help her fill as if she filled it herself. No one cares who filled or didn't fill the form.
It's the documents and personal circumstances that would decide if she does or doesn't get the visa, not who filled the form.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
