UK Ancestry Visa Help

Hi,

I am applying for UK Ancestry visa and I have one dependent under 18 with me. I wanted to know a few things as the information isn't available on the official website:

1- How much money would I need to show in my bank statement knowing that I have a child under 18? And for how long does the money need to stay in my account before I can show my statement in the application?

2- Is it compulsory to have a job offer? Because I does say I need to show "an intention" to work so is a job offer absolutely necessary or can I work around it? Would it count if initially I show an offer of work from home kind of a job from a UK based organisation?

1. You need to show that you have approximately £1600 per applicant and it must be held in your account for at least 3 months usually.

2. I only used evidence that I had communicated with employers/agencies in the UK to start temping once visa approved and I had arrived in the UK. I did not submit a job offer.
