Opening balance on bank statement

Hello, my parents are applying for visitor visa again and their bank statement has "Opening balance" in file row and then their transactions for last 6 months, is that ok ? or it show be just transactions for last 6 months. They have had this account for over few years so their opening balance is <£1000, will this cause issue ?

That's alright and it will be on the statement. If they are using it for the application so far transactions on it does not reflect piling of the account in last 6months and balances are alright should be no issue

As mentioned above, it depends on what the closing balance is. If it looks outrageous and can't be justified with a paper trail, then there could easy be a denial.

Example opening £1K;
closing £7k - £35K;
earnings £300 monthly.
