Can I have both Standard Visit visa and Transit visa at the same time?

Hello, I realise this is a UK immigration board but I'd ask anyway.

Got our Standard Visit visa - valid from 22 August 2023. We made a mistake yesterday and booked our flights on 12 August 2023.

Our original travel plan is western Europe. We planned to do UK first then travel to the Schengen area.

Looking at our options, looks like applying for a Transit visa is the least expensive option. Only thing I'm not sure about is if it's possible to have 2 UK visas in our passport or would they cancel our Standard Visit visa?

Do we have other options?

What do you plan to achieve with this visa?

Transit visa in the UK is given to a certain nationalities that are not allowed to transit through UK on a regular basis, which New Zealand is not included in (see https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa/y/new- ... where_else ). It's also not intended to be a substitute for a visitor visa.
