BRP not arriving, totally at a loss, feel so stuck

Arrived in 9/2022 seeking asylum
Decision letter dated 28/12/2023 with refugee status for five years. Told BRP Card would arrive in 7-10 days.
Received a letter stating need to go for biometrics, completed on 12-January.

It's been 5 weeks and no BRP card. Solicitor and MP contacted home office and keep getting a generic "there was a production issue and we are urgently looking into it", but nothing more.

Send over a dozen requests via the "never recieved brp" form and email, same generic response, never any follow up.

I cannot rent or work without my BRP. Landlords and employers will not accept home office letters and cant be bothered to use the lookup tool. They all want a share code, which I cannot get without a BRP.

HELP - is there any other resource I can try? I literally emaield every single home office email address I could find, begging for help, but nothing.

BRP is ONLY used to travel. BRP card is no longer used to prove of right to work or the right to rent. Employers and landlords must follow the home office guidelines and seek a positive confirmation from the home office, when you cannot get a sharecode

I suggest you seek legal help from Citizens Advice if you think a prospective landlord or employer is being unreasonable and refuses to follow the guidelines. I suggest pressing them on why they do not follow the guidelines
