Hi all,
I'm asking on behalf of my brother whose asylum application was previously refused. He had a hearing date scheduled for next year, but he has now received an email from his solicitor.
His solicitor has forwarded him email from Home office stating that the refusal decision has been withdrawn.
Does anyone have any suggestions or insights regarding this email? Are there any chance that he would get a 5 years visa?
Below are the two emails from solicitor.
Email1
The Home Office has reviewed your matter ahead of the scheduled hearing. The review took into account:
• Your grounds of appeal
• The evidence submitted
• Any material changes since the decision under appeal
Following this review, the Home Office has concluded that the refusal decision in PA/*****/**** is no longer appropriate. Accordingly, the immigration decision has been withdrawn.
It is anticipated that leave will now be granted, subject to any further checks that may be required and your cooperation in providing any additional documents requested.
The Home Office has also written to the HMCTS Hearing Centre to confirm the withdrawal and requested that your appeal hearing be vacated.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as soon as further developments occur, particularly regarding the grant of leave.
