Travelling with ILR Vignette sticker

Hello Zimba,

Good morning. Looking for an information. My parents have ILR status which they got in 2008. After retirement they went to India and come and stay for few months here in UK every year. They have their ILR as a vignette sticker in their old passport. I believe we would need to make an NTL application to get an e-Visa. They are currently in India and NTL application can make only from inside UK. They were last here in UK in July 2025. Would they be able to travel with existing Vignette sticker and then apply for NTL once they are in UK?

What do you think on this?

Yes they can travel as they did before using their sticker. When they are here, they can apply to transfer their sticker to an eVisa
