Bank statement date for visit visa

Hi guys. Should the most recent bank statement be within 28 days for a visit visa? The applicant has 6 months of statements but the last month has a large transfer with no documention. I was wondering if he could show jan 1st to 10th may? Application date will be 20 june. Biometrics probably 1st july.

Biometrics probably 1st july.
Not the ideal thing to do.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
