family visa ...

Post by h1234 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 7:31 pm

Hello ALL,

Here i go with a brief introduction of myself .

I'm pretty new to this website & have read lot of articials regarding immigrations & different catagories. I came here in uk at the mid of last year on student visa & studied Edexcel level 4 Course at recognized institution , but to make the long story short.

so During my College life, i developed a relationship with one girl , who belongs to portugal & we finally decided to marry each other as we realized we cannot live without each other, I don't know how & when we were in love. Anyway

so thus I've actually applied for Marriage Approval certificate at the time when my student visa was expired .To be very honest , I had to leave back to my homeland but my gf insisted me to stay here so that's why i didn't even apply for visa extention as i was already done with my studies, so there wasn't any meaning of apply for student visa extention.

My application was received by Home Office on 24th Feb 2009 . so I just need to know how much time it's gona take to get approval letter for marriage ?

or Did i make a valid application or was it invalid ? Asking you becaus i applied at the time of when my visa was expired.

& What's the rest of the process after getting marriage approval letter ?

I'm very keen interested to know about the time scale because i'm in hell hurry to visit my homeland due to some unexpected problems araised there.

so I will be very thankful to you , if you post your useful advices regarding my case.

& I went to my socilitor lot of times but he isn't replying me properly & he says , Wait, tht's wot he says all the time.

I called at home office lot of times but I get the same Asnwer ,Wait , your application is still pending.

Or one more question .

If i withdraw my application ? what's the process for that ? n how long it's gona take ?

Thank you all

n Hope to get very professional replies .

Thanks Again

Aly

When did your student visa expire?

And your fiancée, in what way is she exercising EU Treaty Rights in the UK? Employed? Self-Employed? Studying? Or how?
