hey everyone ive been in the uk since 2004 and i have lawfull settlement i have evidence of this in writen form, just want to know if im entitled to ILR thanks

well i came here in a working holiday visa worked two yrs , then studied , finished my studies in 2010 and now im applying to join the armed forces but the process in joing the armed forces is taking long been 1yr 5months still waiting on a start date?

so basically i started on a working holiday visa switched to student and since ive finished my studies home office been givving me six months extension of stay since then as im waiting on a date to start training do i need to speak to an advisor about it ???

Settlement means ILR. You started with working holiday maker, then you shifted to student visa. Both of these categories do not lead to settlement that is generally linked with working visa. However, you might be qualified for ILR based on your 10 year legall stay in 2014. As 10 year long stay is category that recognises/counts the period spent as a student or working holiday maker.
