I have recently received my first British passport. I wasn’t entirely sure, but I thought I needed to update my UKVI account with my new GB passport (since I had returned my ILR-BRP card). However, it seems this cannot be done online as my nationality has changed.
The website redirected me to the following link:
https://update-your-details.homeoffice.gov.uk/name
It appears I need to send my passport to them again.
Could you please confirm if this step is mandatory, or since I already have the GB passport, is there nothing more I need to do with UKVI?
