Citizenship Calculator Query

Post by reverse_blade93 » Mon Oct 22, 2012 11:44 am

A simple question I have:

Say if my stamp 3 date is 1 Jan 2007 - 23 Aug 2007, and I renewed 18 Aug 2007 to stamp 1, do I enter it as:

1 Jan 2007 - 18 Aug 2007 Stamp 3 (on first line) (and not 23 Aug 2007 as originally allowed??)

and

18 Aug 2007 - 18 Aug 2008 Stamp 1 (on 2nd line)

I'm confused if you strictly follow the stamps as dated in your passport even if you renewed earlier or follow the date of the current stamp.

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

Hi IQU:

Thanks for clearing bit of my confusion.

How to write the dates if same stamp is moved to new passport.

Actually I got a stamp in June 2010 till June 2012.
During September 2011,I got a new passport as my passport pages was about to finish so I went to Garda with my new passport, the officer entered a stamp on 6th of September till June 2012.

How to deal with it in the residency calculator, although the end date is still the same and no new Garda card was issued?

June 2010 - June 2012 stamp 4
OR
June 2010 - June 2012 stamp4
Sept 2011 - June 2012 stamp 4
OR
Something else

Many thanks

Hi there,
I have a related question. The stamp in my passport reads "G/4" - presuming this means it's a type 4 visa then?

Thanks!
