Residency visa for non EU spouse

Hi folks :D

I am Irish with 3 kids (Irish passport holders) living abroad. We want to return to Ireland in July 2015. I plan to work.

My wife (we got married in London in 2006) is non EU. We have been living abroad together since then.We have returned several times to Ireland on holidays.

What steps should we take? What tips do you suggest ?

Anyone been through a similar experience?
